09.06.2012: meeting at Georgian border or at the Yerevan airport. Check in at the hotel in Yerevan.
10.06.2012: city tour of Yerevan and continue tour to fortress of Garni (1st. c. BC) and Geghard monastery being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain and surrounded by cliffs. accommodation in Yerevan.
11.06.2012: drive to Khor Virap monastery located in the Ararat plain in Armenia, near the border with Turkey and 13th century Armenian apostolic church monastery Noravanq. Return to Yerevan.
12.06.2012: visit Matenadaran- institute of ancient manuscripts. Drive to Echmiadzin, Saint Hripsime Church (one of the oldest surviving churches in Armenia) and Zvartnots temple (641-661). Overnight in Yerevan.
13.06.2012: drive to Sevani lake, on the way visit Sevanavank monasteries on the peninsula. Short walk at the Lake and check in at the hotel in Sevan.
14.06.2012: en route visit Alaverdi town, Odzun monastery, Sanahin and Haghpat monasteries, cross Georgian border and check in at the hotel in Tbilisi.
15.06.2012: free day in Tbilisi, for those who don't have Azerbaijan visa visit the embassy for visa procedures.

16.06.2012: continue to Azerbaijan, cross the border and excursion in Sheki: the History Museum, Sheky Khan’s Palace, local handicrafts workshops; Shebeke icons. Check in at the hotel in Sheki.
17.06.2012: drive from Sheki to Qabala-Shamakhi-Baku. Getting acquaintance with place of interest in Gabala, excursion to ethnographic museum, visit to ancient Alban-Chukhur Qabala. Visit to Diri Baba Mausoleum in Maraza, Seven Tombs in Shemakha. Check in at the hotel in Baku.
18.06.2012: full day city tour in Baku: to visit the "Icheri Sheher” old town: Shemakha Gate, Maiden Tower, Shirvanshah's Palace. The Walled City of Baku with these architectural monuments is included in the World's Cultural Heritage of UNESCO. Visit museum of history, Carpet & applied Art Museum
19.06.2012: have an excursion to Absheron peninsula: historical art reserve "Gobustan” & mud volcanoes. Trip to Fire Worshippers’ Temple - the most famous fire temple is the well-preserved temple Ateshgah ("the Fire Place") in Surakhany. Leave Baku for Tbilisi with night train.

Georgian part:
20.06.2012: meeting at Tbilisi train station and check in at the hotel in Tbilisi. Free day.
21.06.2012: starting excursion with Abanotubani district: visit famous Sulphur baths and the souvenir shops, Narikala Fortress, Metekhi Church and the bridge, Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati basilica, walking at Shardeni Street and visit the Treasury of Art Museum.
22.06.2012: visit the cave-city and monastery complex of David Gareja, hike up to the top of the hill with beautiful landscapes of Georgian on the one side and Azerbaijan on the other side. Visit Lavra and Udabno monasteries. Continue to fortified city of Sighnaghi and Bodbe Monastery. Drive to Telavi via A. Chavchavadze museum and the wine cellar in Tsinandali and return to Tbilisi via Gombori pass.
23.06.2012: visit Ananuri fortress, alpine ski resort Gudauri and via Cross Pass arrival in Stephantsminda, walk up to Gergeti Trinity Church with the beautiful views of Kazbegi mountain peak and the village. Return to Tbilisi.
24.06.2012: city of Mtskheta: historical and architectural complex of Jvari, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Samtavro Convent. Continue visiting Uplistsikhe, Stalin's birth place and Museum in Gori. Accommodation in Bakuriani.
25.06.2012: resort in Borjomi: Tasting of Borjomi mineral spring water and stroll in the park. Via Khertvisi fortress drive to Vardzia cave town - XIII storey city cut out of solid rock. Accommodation in Kutaisi.
26.06.2012: sighteeing in the old Town, visit Bagrati Temple, historic and architectural complex of Gelati and Motsameta monastery, continue to Sataplia caves with stalactites and stalagmites in the nature reserve zone of extinct volcano. Drive to Tbilisi and accommodation.
27.06.2012: transfer to the airport for departure
